Datona were chosen to manufacture and install 88 balustrades to the
balconies of two tenement blocks in Walthamstow. The work included
removal of the old wooden balustrades and resin fixing the new frames-some
of which weighed in excess of 250 kilos. All fixings were 'pull out'
tested by our own personnel who are qualified for such work. Planning
& logistics were an important part of the work, as each balustrade
had to be 'asphalted in' and installed immediately.
Total contract value: £90,000.00.
